As the end of a very successful year draws to a close on behalf of the committee we would like to wish all Players, supporters and friends a Peaceful and Prosperous New Year.


We wish the Minor boys and their Management every success when they play the Ulster Minor Championship semi final on Friday 1st January all support for this game is appreciated...a bus will be going from the club, contact John Mc Elholm for details.

In what has been a great year our support throughout the year has been greatly appreciated and I hope that you will continue to support the club in 2010.

Club Notes 24/12/09

Please note there will be no bingo at the club until Thursday 7th January.

All roads on Boxing Day (Saturday) lead to Shaws Road, Belfast where our minor team play Derry champions Dungiven in the Northern Bank Ulster Minor Club semi-final at 1.30pm. The bus for this match will leave Healy Park at 11.15am.

Please note due to the Ulster Minor Championship semi final the Cormac McElroy Memorial match will be held instead on Sunday 27th December with the game commencing at 6pm.

Comhghairdeas to Conán Grugan, Cormac Hannigan and Darren McMenamin who won College All-Stars with their respective Colleges this week.

Also comhghairdeas to Conán Grugan and Damon Teague who both made the Gaelic Life team of the week.

Unfortunately, however, Eugene Bradley and the Tyrone over 40’s lost valiantly to Mayo in the All-Ireland final on a score of 1-08 to 0-07.

Gaelic Start has ceased until January.

There were four winners of the lotto M Cuthbertson, M Murray, G McPeake and S Cassiom. The numbers were 3, 9, 12, 15, and 19. Please note U14 training will commence the first week in January.

Recently the club has been used more and more for private parties/birthdays/anniversaries etc. If you have a party coming up and would like details please contact a committee member. It is free for club members and is a good way to support the club.

The Club AGM will be held on Tuesday 12th January.

The club mentors and coaches would like to wish all our youth players, their parents and relatives a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Sincere sympathy is expressed to the Colgan family on their recent bereavement.

Finally, well done to Conor Clarke, Ryan Clarke, Ronan O’Neill and Conán Grugan who were named in the provisional training panel for Tyrone Minors.
