Omagh Minors Ulster Herald Team of The Year2009 Thanks to everyone who voted for the minor team who were crowned Ulster Herald Team of the year in Kelly's Inn on Friday night rounding off a great year for the squad and managementJerome Quinn Videos from Ulster Youth Coaching Conference: http://ulster.gaa.ie/2010/02/25/secrets-of-omagh-youth-success/ £4000 BINGO AND £5000 LOTTO Lotto Result (Thursday 25/02/10) Numbers were: 9, 23, 27, 28, 29. Four winners were: B Cunningham, A O'Sullivan, J Mullan and S Brannigan. Bingo continues this Thursday at 9pm in Healy Park with £4000 in prize money including the usual £1000 house and two £500 houses and 17 other useful prizes. There is also a chance to win the £5000 top prize in the club lotto which is drawn at the bingo. Last weeks lotto winners’ were A Doody, J McPeake, D Tierney and E Harkness with the numbers 10, 11, 22, 24 and 30. FREE BINGO BUSES Please note that St Enda’s organise a free bingo bus to Healy Park every Thursday stopping at the following areas approximately: Townview Avenue Spar Shop (8.10pm), O’Kane Park (8.15pm), Tamlaght Road (8.20pm), Centra Brookmount Road (8.25pm), Pat Kirks (8.30pm) and finally Strathroy (8.40pm). There is also a free bingo bus which travels from Victoria Bridge (7.30pm) to Spamount (7.45pm), Castlederg (8pm) and Drumquin (8.20pm). Finally a free bus leaves Ballymagorry (7.30pm), travels to Bridge Street, Strabane (7.45pm), Sion Mills (7.50pm) and Main Street, Newtownstewart (8pm) and on to Healy Park. ULSTER U21 FINAL AND BEST WISHES There was disappointment for the Omagh U21 team who lost narrowly to Burren in the Ulster final on a scoreline of 1-14 to 1-11. The club are grateful to everyone involved in the exceptional journey for the U21 team this year. Best wishes and a speedy recovery to Ronan O’Neill who was injured during this game. Best wishes and a speedy recovery also to Caolan McCrossan and Aáron Grugan who both had surgery last week. GAELIC START Gaelic Start continues every Saturday from 10-11.30am in the Sports Hall at Omagh CBS. HURL-IN Hurl-In for over 16’s continues every Wednesday in the CBS sports hall from 7-8pm. Everyone welcome! SCOR COUNTY FINAL There was disappointment for all our Scor participants (Ceili and Set Dancers, Ballad Group and Solo Singer) in the County final last Sunday. The club are very appreciative of everyone involved in representing St Enda’s. WALKERS CLUB EVERY TUESDAY The walkers club continues at the club every Tuesday at 8.30pm. |
