Minor training resumes next week. Vinny will be in touch with all players with details of times and venues. Club player Christiane Hunter was part of the UUJ side that beat Fermanagh 2-18 to 0-2 in the Dowd cup on Sunday, she lines out for the students again on Thursday against Monaghan. Christiane has been awarded an highly acclaimed and sought after Ulster Council GAA bursary. The young defender is one of only a handful of Ulster lady footballers to pick up the accolade. Well done to Dearbhla Harpur, Shauna Browne, Kerri-Anne O'Hagan and Orlagh McNamee who were selected to attend the Tyrone Trials, all 4 girls put on a fine display of quality football, Congratulations to those that reached the next stage of trials. Well done to the Junior Scor Set Dancers in reaching the Ulster Final A special thanks to all those who helped in the kitchen on Sunday. All help would be greatly appreciated this Saturday 23rd January, when Tyrone v Cavan, please be there at 5pm and volunteer your time if possible to assist with raising vital funds for the running costs of the club. All roads lead to Belfast this Sunday 24th January at 1.30pm to support our gallant minor boys and their quest for glory when they play Kilcoo (from Down) at Shaws Road, Belfast in the Ulster Club Championship Final. We wish them and their management the very best of luck. The Club are organising a bus to the Ulster Club Minor final. Please call or text John Mc Elholm (07921577319) by Friday if you wish to book a seat on the bus. The annual dinner dance will be held in the Mellon Country Hotel on Saturday 30th January, tickets are available from Bernie Doherty, Vicky O'Hagan, Seamus Hannigan or John Mc Elholm.
