There was a double blow for our minor teams in Wedneday night's Tyrone championship.

Grade 1 - Cookstown 2-13, St. Enda's 2-8

Grade 3 - Castlederg 4-9, St. Enda's 1-7

Both teams were unfortunate not to be at full strength but turned in very courageous performances regardless.

A new GAA initiative aimed at introducing Gaelic games to primary school children in Omagh town is set to swing in to action tomorrow this Friday.

Five young St. Enda's boys represented our club with distinction on Tuesday past in Croke Park when they were part of a large contingent of U12 players from Tyrone to take part in a special 'Activity Day' at GAA headquarters. Sean Laird, Caleb Haughey, Matthew McClements, Garbhan McKenna and Cormac Hurley were selected to play a series of football and hurling games on the pitch and received a guided tour of all the facilities. The boys thoroughly enjoyed their experience and hopefully in the future they might have the honour of representing St. Enda's in an All-Ireland club final on St. Patrick's Day.

Saturday 14th April - U14 Football Feile in Kildress. Bus leaves Brook Street at 8.30am.

Monday 16th April - U14 Hurling League 7.15pm: Omagh v Beragh
