Hard luck to the St. Enda's girls who lost to Errigal Ciaran in the final of the Grade 2 minor championship this evening in Fintona on the scoreline of 5-10 to 1-9.
Trailing by one point at the interval, 1-5 to 0-7, the St. Enda's girls should have been in front and were unfortunate to miss a number of goal opportunities including a penalty. Errigal Ciaran went further in front with a goal shortly after the break but St. Enda's pulled back with a goal of their own.
The game was evenly poised as the second half reached the midway point but three goals in the final twelve minutes including one from a penalty gave Errigal a flattering 5-10 to 1-9 victory. See photos on facebook page
