St. Enda's 0-11
Dromore 0-8
St. Enda's recorded a vital win over County champions Dromore at Healy Park on Friday evening to go joint third at the top of Division One.
A gutsy team performance saw the side bounce back from last week's defeat to Kildress and the St. Enda's management will undoubtedly be pleased at the effort displayed by everyone to carve out this three points win.
Leading by just a point at half time, 0-6 to 0-5, thanks to a Conan Grugan free, St. Enda's went on to open up a five points lead thanks in the main to an inspirational display from Jason McAnulla.
Jason was well supported by many throughout the game, with Barry Tierney, Ciaran Brannigan and the Gallagher brothers playing a pivotal role in defence.
Dromore edged slowly back into the game and with five minutes remaining Eoin McCusker cut the deficit to just two points, 0-10 to 0-8. The visitors then had a chance to narrow the gap to a single point but McCusker kicked wide, leaving substitute Ryan McBride to land a great score for Omagh following a methodical build up involving Aaron Gurgan and Conor O'Donnell.
The Reserves made it a double win for St. Enda's with a 1-11 to 0-7 victory to go second in the league.
