Bright future ahead - The season for our seniors came to a disappointing end last Sunday when they fell to an impressive Dromore team at the penultimate stage of the championship. Everyone should still take hope from the fact that this is still a very young team and they will undoubtedly have many successes in the years ahead, therefore everyone in the club should focus on building the future together.
U16s - There was also disappointment for our U16s who lost to Ardboe in the Grade 1 championship final but, like our seniors, they too are destined for many good things in the future and have demonstrated great commitment to the St. Enda's jersey all year long. Well done to everyone for all their efforts. This Saturday, the final piece of official action for the year for our male teams will take place this Saturday in Newtownstewart when our U16 Development team play in the Grade 4 championship final against a high flying Castlederg team. The St. Enda's boys will be underdogs and a big club support to help these young players on would be appreciated by everyone. Throw-in is 12 noon.
Senior ladies - Our senior ladies team play Dromintee in the semi-finals of the Ulster Intermediate Championship in Dromintee on Sunday at 2pm and again a good travelling support would be appreciated.
Gaelic Start - Gaelic Start continues as normal this Saturday in the Brothers school from 10-11.30am (hurling from 11.30 to 12) and everyone is welcome to send their children of Year 1, 2 and 3 levels. Help with coaching will always be appreciated by the co-ordinators.
U8 Club Blitz - The club's U8 footballers and hurlers will wrap up the year with an internal club blitz on Saturday 22nd October at the CBS all-weather pitch from 10.30 to 12noon. All parents are invited to come along that day to see how their sons have developed their skills this year.
Junior and Inter finals - Healy Park will be hosting the Junior and Intermediate finals this Sunday and all available stewards should report early to John McElholm for duty.
Lotto - Club Lotto continues each week with the jackpot currently standing at £2,500. For just £1 per week this is a great way of supporting the club and possibly securing an early Christmas present. Last week's numbers are 3, 10, 14, 17, 26. There were two winners of £50 with four numbers each, B Deery of Irvinestown and Mary McMenamin of Strathroy.
Scór night - Finally, as the Scór season fast approaches, club members are asked to support a special Scór night in the club on Friday 21st October at 9pm where we will show case some of our talent who will be participating in this year's competitions. Family and friends are invited to attend as a great night is on the cards.
